About Us...

Good Tidings Felllowship is a 54 year old Christian retreat, conference center, and summer camp operation  in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. Varioue corporate functions, church groups, and other agencies utilize the magestic mountaintop facility throughout the year. From quality food service to quiet and clean meeting rooms, Good Tidings hosts many high quality events throughout the year. We have never been part of any church denomination. Good Tidings is a non-profit organization led by an honorable Board of Directors which meets quarterly for operational effeciency.

For decades our focus has been to serve and to minister to teens and children in need.The cross cultural aspect of our camper population gives our summer program a unique "flavor" that many have complimented. Our summer staff from around the country are skilled and carefully selected for their service to the youth who attend our summer camp.

Directors

Bob and Debbie Borman have been leaders in Christian camping since 1987 when they directed their first Youth for Christ Camp in Illinois. From Chicago to New York City, they have led hundreds of urban and rural campers in powerful and life changing summer camping experiences. Mission Statement

Our primary focus and purpose for the summer program at GTBC is to present Christ and His embracing love, through specific programs designed to meet the current spiritual needs of the campers. Above all else, we are here to do the Lord's work, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to lead children to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is also desirable, that we encourage spritual growth of brothers and sisters in Christ, whether they are campers, or fellow staff members.
